1991-2021 celebrating 30 Years!

I am a proud 1991 graduate of the first group of Emerging Latino/Chicano Writers of the prestigious INROADS: WRITERS OF COLOR MENTORSHIP PROGRAM @The Loft Literary Center in Minneapolis, MN! Ever since then, I've written 5 Collections of Poetry on Latinidad, Love, Politics, Pride & Life as a Lover.  I find great pleasure navigating through so many worlds. I have been privileged to read widely including @The Bronx Academy of Arts & Dance, NY, Outwords Books, Gifts & Cafe, Milwaukee, WI the Conference on Latina Letters in San Antonio, TX, and Chicago's Agosín Theatre.  I work as a Freelance Writer and as an Educator on subjects ranging from "Finding Your Voice," "Living Passion," & "Navigating Life After the Closet for People of Color" to "Writing Love Letters to Your Lady (or Guy)" & Writing Outside the Lines for Children, Youth, Adults & Seniors.
